Written here. With AI, in plain sight.

Closed Pro is Closed Lite for working with the AI students already use: ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Students write as usual and cannot paste or dictate; with the Closed Chat extension for Chrome they export their AI conversations, signed and time-stamped, and import them into the work. They can insert what they need from the answers, which stays marked, and the whole conversation goes inside the submission, with the writing record and the replay. The teacher decides in the assignment whether AI may be used and how much of the work may come from it.

The problem

AI is already in the classroom. Where can you see it?

Banning AI does not work, and AI detectors guess and get it wrong. Used well, AI helps students understand, organise their ideas and improve their writing; used badly, it writes the work for them.

Closed Pro puts AI in plain sight. Students use the AI they want, and the submission carries the text, how it was written and every chat in full, signed so that it cannot be retouched. The teacher sees how the AI was used and decides with facts.

How it works

Write, import, verify.

Written, not pasted

Pasting and dropping text are blocked, and so are voice dictation and other input that does not come from the keyboard. Every attempt is recorded.

The AI they already use

ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. With the Closed Chat extension for Chrome, the student exports the whole conversation and imports it into the work.

Signed chats

Every chat carries a digital signature and a time stamp from an independent authority. If anyone changes a letter after exporting it, Closed Pro rejects it.

The teacher sets the rules

A signed assignment with the statement, the criteria, the due date, whether AI may be used and how much of the work may come from it.

Everything goes in the submission

Every change with its time, every chat in full and the AI text inserted, marked in purple. A chat cannot be removed once imported.

Signed and verifiable

The teacher replays the writing like a video and gets a PDF report with the chats, the share of AI text and the typed passages that match the AI.

And also: the replay at up to ×100, three security levels with digital certificates, hand-in PDFs for Moodle, Classroom or Teams that the teacher marks on screen, export to Word or text, and it opens and verifies the work done with Closed Lite. See every feature →

Closed Chat

The extension that brings in the chats

Closed Chat is the Google Chrome extension that brings the AI conversations into Closed Pro. On the open conversation in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, the student clicks its icon and chooses «Export signed»: it saves a .closedchat file with every question and answer, the time of each message and the model used, ready to import into the work.

  • Signed and time-stamped: a digital signature and an RFC 3161 time stamp from an independent authority. If a single letter is changed, Closed Pro refuses it.
  • The visible conversation with its formatting (headings, lists, tables and code). Of attachments, only their names.
  • No servers or accounts: the chat stays on the computer. For the time stamp, only its fingerprint (SHA-256) is sent, never its content.
  • It can also save a readable copy in .txt, without signature.
Standard, open technology

Documents and chats are signed with ECDSA P-256, chats carry an RFC 3161 time stamp and, with a certificate, documents are also signed with standard CMS/CAdES signatures.
