The same licence terms you accept when you first open Closed Pro.
AI Soft Ventures grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Closed Pro under these terms and those of the Microsoft Store. The software is licensed, not sold, and AI Soft Ventures retains all rights in it.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or patch the software, nor extract or attempt to extract its signing keys or circumvent its protection mechanisms (paste blocking, writing record and signatures), except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
You may not create, alter or forge .closedpro files by any means other than the software itself, or present a document written by someone else as your own. Closed Pro detects and flags tampered documents; the user is solely responsible for how documents are used and presented to third parties.
The verification and the writing report provide indications of how a document was written, not conclusive proof. AI Soft Ventures is not liable for academic, employment or other decisions taken on the basis of them.
The work, its writing record, the questions to the AI and its answers, the sources and the settings are stored only on the user's computer and in the files the user saves or submits. Closed Pro has no accounts or telemetry and sends nothing to any server, except two things the user starts: downloading AI models from Hugging Face and, if the user chooses, sending a report about AI content (section 9). The digital certificate, if used, is used on the computer itself for signing.
The AI runs on the computer itself with models the user downloads, which have their own licence. Its answers may contain errors, omissions or wrong citations even when based on the sources: the user must check them before using them. The rules of each assignment are applied through instructions to the model and checks in the app, but an AI model does not always follow them.
The questions to the AI, its answers, the source excerpts it received, refused requests, added sources and text inserted from the AI stay in the writing record and go in the file that is submitted. Whoever receives the submission, usually the teacher, can read them. Part of the conversation cannot be removed without invalidating the signature of the work.
Whoever creates an assignment declares that they have the right to share the materials it includes with their students for use in class. Closed Pro does not publish or share the materials: they go inside the assignment file, which its author distributes. Sources added by the student stay on their computer; the submission includes their name, size, fingerprint (SHA-256) and the excerpts the AI received.
If the AI generates offensive, sexual, violent, dangerous or false content, the user can report it with the ⚑ button on each answer. Only what the user sees and confirms in that window is sent (the text, the reason, their comment and, if they enter it, their email), together with the model, version and language, to AI Soft Ventures, which will use it only to review the report and improve the software. The work is not sent.
The software includes open-source components under their own licences (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, SIL Open Font License and others), which prevail for those components. The list and the licence texts are in About › Third-party notices.
The software is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Soft Ventures is not liable for indirect damages, data loss or loss of profits arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to the user by consumer law.
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the consumer's country of residence.
